A Heavenly Vision part 1

                                                  November 18, 2010

In Revelation Chapter 21, we learn of a holy city wherin dwells God and his people.
It shines with God's glory and has brilliance like that of a very precious jewel. The street of the city is of pure gold. The Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. The glory of God gives the city its light and the Lamb is its lamp. Nothing unpure will ever enter it nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life.
Could you picture a world where nothing bad ever happens? A world where we never get sick
or sad. A world where we never fight or hurt anyone's feelings. A world where everyone loves us and where we love everyone. Everyone is always smiling and no one is ever in a bad mood. There is NOTHING to EVER be afraid of. There are NO natural disasters, NO mosquitos, NO biting winter winds, or sweltering summer heat. There are no crying babys, no screaming mothers, and no whiny children. There are no deadbeat dad's who abandon their children. No one is ever abused, or ever grows old, or dies, and there are no more funerals. Actually there are no more weddings because there is not a gender; Jesus said there are no more marriages since we will all be like angels in heaven. [Matthew 22:30]
Revelation 21:4 God will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old earth has passed away.

Look for a continuation of "A Heavenly Vision" coming next week (unless the Lord comes first!
